This mural, affectionately coined “Flower Explosion” by one of my friends, was my first large mural. It was commissioned by a warm and friendly family with a young daughter. They wanted something to look at in the mornings from their living room, and to have a vibrant backdrop when hosting visitors in the summertime.

They also requested that I include some hidden animals into the mural for their daughter. More specifically, it needed to include her favorite animal, Baby Shark (which I thought was the sweetest thing ever!!).

Review from Ta Tung C.

“Working with Taryn on our backyard mural was such a wonderful experience! We wanted something fun, bold, and vibrant that would bring a happy energy to our backyard, and Taryn brought our vision to life beautifully. She was so easy to communicate with, thoughtful, and respectful of our ideas and budget. We especially appreciated how she worked with us to create something we loved while staying within our budget. The mural turned out amazing, and it still makes us smile every time we see it. It was such a special addition to our new home, and we couldn’t be happier!”
