I have a love-hate relationship with this piece. I painted this in my AP Studio Art class for a watercolor assignment. Looking at it years later, there is so much I would change. Today, I would layer it so much more and would plan it out in a few concepts before committing to the final painting.

While I don’t like most of this painting, the two trees in the foreground and midground show me what I’m capable of with watercolors. I love the blues in the leftmost tree, and how finished the middle tree looks.
